I made a short trip to London for a couple of weeks ago to visit a very good friend of mine living there. Even though I had only four days to enjoy this fantastic city, I managed to visit a number of must-see London attractions. Unfortunately, the weather was not on my side – clouds, clouds and even more clouds… and sometimes rain! Despite the weather, I managed to take some nice pictures to share with you.
My travel experience would not be complete without a visit to an Hermes store. I had a couple of designs on my mind, which I wanted to try, but at the very end I left the store with two totally different designs. This proves once again that one shall always try the scarves in real life before buying them.
So, the first scarf I brought as a souvenir from London is Into the Canadian Wild by Alice Shirley, cw 05 in pink/green/yellow. When I tried this cw on I was truly surprised to discover how well it worked with my face complexion. The pink, green and yellow colors are so feminine and pretty. Whenever I wear this scarf I feel so happy. It reminds me of the great tine I spent in London with my wonderful friend.
Below are some pictures of my new scarf. I hope you like them.
And some lovely details of the scarf…
I wish you all a lovely summer evening!
Yours,
Irina
🙂 Dear Irina,
thank you for sharing those special London moments. Too bad the weather wasn’t really nice, but I bet you had a wonderful time. London is never boring. And the lovely scarf you brought home is proof.
The Carré suits you very well and I like the picture where you are wearing the contrasting Hermès turquoise bangle.
A very HAPPY evening to you, too! 🙂

Thank you so much, dear Happyface313, for visiting my blog and for your lovely compliment. Despite the weather I had a fantastic time with my friend and her family. As a bonus, she lives in the very center of London so we had all possibilities just around the corner. I am so glad you liked my scarf too. As I mentioned in the post, I brought two scarves from London. We’ll see if you like that other one too. Have a lovely weekend, dear! See you on Instagram. Irina

🙂 Dear Irina,
I’m curious to see the other scarf.
Today I got the new Histoires de Carrés booklet for the fall/winter season and I have to say that there are at least two motifs I wouldn’t mind having 😉
You have a lovely weekend, too! 🙂
