It’s been a long time since my last post and a lot has happened. I have become a mother to a wonderful baby girl born in February. She and her older brother and sister have been filling my time since then.
Despite being a busy parent, I have been keeping an eye on the latest Hermes SS2019 collection of scarves. This season two designs have drawn my attention – Animapolis and another one which I will reveal soon. Having been torn between a couple of CWs of Animapolis, I finally decided on the bright and cheerful Yellow/Green/Pink, CW 1.
Animapolis is an exuberant composition designed by Jan Bajtlik, a graduate of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. It is his first silk scarf designed for Hermes.
“In this phantasmagorical city, zebras, dinosaurs, monkeys and toucans joyfully run riot. Each animal tells a story – a dragon lays siege to the Warsaw Palace of Culture and Science, a leopard sets its sights on the Kremlin in Moscow, and a panda and crocodile pass the time lounging at the foot of Moscow’s St. Basil’s Cathedral. And, for the very best view of this delightful spectacle, other protagonists gather at the windows of Hermes on Faubourg Saint-Honore in Paris”, as described on Hermes.com.
It is such a fun design and I can spend hours looking at it and discovering all the details!
I hope you will find my pictures below inspiring and wish you all a wonderful week ahead.
