I love the beautiful colours of your new scarf. So much nicer than on the Hermes website. I had read that their colours are muted to stop forgery and that is certainly the case for this scarf. More proof that they have to be seen in the flesh first.
Thank you so much for your comment. I am very glad you like my new scarf. I totally agree it looks rather different from the one on http://www.hermes.com. I have never considered Into the Canadian Wild as an option for me believing it would be too pale for me. Once I tried it on, I changed my mind. The subtle colors of this cw complement my complexion wonderfully. So, if there is a possibility one must definitely try a scarf IRL before buying. What is your favorite design of the season? Best wishes, Irina
Hi Irina. I have been collecting Hermes scarves for a few months now but they have all been second hand. I never dared to go into the shops. But I finally went into the one near my work last month and bought a Samourais scarf. I love that scarf so much. So I went back twice more and bought two further colourways so now I have a pile of orange boxes. I may have to wait a while before I go in again. But I did manage to sneak in the Space Shopping gavroche colour 03 with the large orange H from this season’s designs when I went in last time. I love your blog. Beautiful photos and such an inspiration. Julie
Dear Julie, thank you so much for all your compliments! I am so glad you find my blog inspiring! Indeed, the PdS design is so gorgeous! I’ve heard from other girls that Hermes used the whole 65 color shades in the design compared to normal 20-30. Sadly, I have also seen some fakes on the secondary market. So, get as many color ways you can afford while they’re still available in the brand stores! Greetings from Sweden, irina
I knew you would love this design! … because I fell for it, too. You look lovely.
You are right: one must see a scarf IRL, the photos on the H website never do the scarf justice, That’s where I discovered my latest buy, the Selle d’Officier.
