Hi, just found your fantastic blog! Like you, I love Hermes scarves and I am always looking for new ways to tie them. I guess it’s just personal taste, but I notice you often use a scarf ring, which always looks a bit “old” to me (I am guessing you are only a few years older than me, which is quite young!!), I always prefer the looks of classic knots – my “go to” style is the French twist style, double wrapped and knotted in front. I’d love to see more of your beautiful scarves in this style. Looking forward to more posts! J
Dear Jasmine, thank you so much for stopping by and leaving such a great comment! You know the famous French style icon Ines de la Fressange in her book Parisian Chic called scarf rings for one of the fashion’s “faux pas”. It is a little bit funny that you mentioned exactly the same thing. And you are so right! I totally share your opinion that an Hermes scarf does not need any additional accessories since it is the star of the show! A well matched blouse, trousers, shoes, or lipstick, nail color will make the look complete. There is a great point in what you say and I will keep it in my mind. If you are interested in seeing me more often, please visit my Instagram. Have a lovely day!
